hurricane daze
Power is out; airport closed for the last 36 hours and will likely remain so. Kids asleep and blogging via text by the light of some leftover glow-sticks from july 4. Still no threat, just highly inconvenient wind and rain. Question of the day: what topics have you discussed while without power, and with whom?

I think you need to sing, "Hello, Dolly" to Hurricane Dolly, except you change the words to "Goodbye, Dolly" and just see what happens. All I ever seem to do without power is to whine about living like Laura Ingalls. Wishing you and your family safe travels home.
